After a change of ownership in 2022 this former coaching inn is in the the early phases of complete renovation and refurbishment and has completed re-branding to its former name of The George Inn. The first phase of internal refurbishment has taken place in the bar, lounge and restaurant areas providing a very welcoming, stylish yet relaxed ambience and there are exciting plans ahead. Currently just one regular real ale is available - Fuller's London Pride.
