      Collyweston slate-roofed pub with a fine view over the valley and village duck pond. It is a family run pub and offers a warm welcome serving highly regarded food. Sunday roasts are extremely popular and booking is advised. Petanque is played here in the summer and dominoes in the winter. Extensively refurbished in 2020 the Exeter is popular with walkers and is dog friendly. The large garden has been tastefully designed and features an outdoor bar and kitchen providing high quality bbq food at weekends.

      The Blue Bell is a historic village pub. Low ceilings, a roaring fire and stone walls are part of its charm. Six handpulls offer a wide range of well-kept guest beers, including at least one LocAle and real cider. Dogs on leads are welcome in the bar area.       A 16th Century Coaching Inn with a warm cosy real fire is a traditional welcome during the winter and a large beer garden for the summer. The low ceilings and antiquity of the interior will take you back in time to how old fashioned public houses used to be, with a regular variety of real ales, lagers, ciders and a selection of wines and spirits. A variety of activities including Petanque (French boules) dart boards, dominos, pool table, cards, connect 4. We are a regular meeting place for post activities such as Squash, Racquetball, Football and Pilates and a book club convene periodically. Currently every Wednesday evening there is a special homemade food menu that varies every week.

      Multi award winning gastropub with accommodation. The Olive Branch is renowned throughout the county and beyond and has been winning awards since being named Michelin Pub of the Year 2008, the Good Pub Guide Inn of the Year 2014 and more recently the Great Food Club Pub of the Year 2023. Aimed mainly at diners though to quote a recent WhatPub update (Oct 2023) 'more of a restaurant than a pub but nevertheless we were made very welcome when we called unbooked for a drink and a snack late on Sunday lunchtime'. The real ale offered is brewed locally and sold under the pub name 'Olive Branch Ale'. There are 6 bedrooms.

Edith Weston is the site of Rutland Water Sailing Club, and is also only a short walk to Rutland Water Fishing Lodge and the Cycle Hire Centre at Normanton.

      The Cricket and Social Club is noted for the quality and variety of the ales served, all from microbreweries. It is run by volunteers and has limited hours, but these are regularly extended by sporting and other functions, so please check Facebook and the club website calendar for latest details. Saturday opening hours are variable depending on cricket matches and live music events. The Club is used by many local organisations and is valued for the Community focus. Annual beer festival held to coincide with the final matches of the Six Nations rugby in March. A regular award winner within the Rutland CAMRA branch.

This Community focused pub has undergone extensive work to enlarge the outdoor seating area. Disabled provision from the rear car park but no disabled toilet. Disabled parking by prior arrangement.       Grade II traditional village local in the shadow of the impressive church. This is a gem of a village local public house serving good wine, beer and real ales in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. A listed building several hundred years old, with much character and more than a little charm! The beers may well change according to the season.

      Rutland CAMRA Pub of the Year 2020, 2021 and again in 2023. In May 2024 it was named CAMRA's Area Pub of the Year for Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Rutland !

      The Wheatsheaf is an attractive village pub situated in the village of Langham just north of Oakham on the A606. It is a former Manns pub but now free of tie and serving beers from many breweries, micro and otherwise.The bar carries a wide range of gins.

      It has an excellent reputation for its food and can be extremely busy particularly in the summer months. Regular winners in the regional Pie Awards. A childrens menu is also available.

      This charming and attractive Country Inn is set among the sandstone cottages of Lyddington, a rural conservation village surrounded by the slopes of the Welland Valley. This 17th Century building has retained its original beamed ceilings, stone walls and open fires and is surrounded by well stocked gardens. The Old White Hart is one of the few owner run remaining traditional country pubs in the area. The owners Stuart and Holly East have been running the Pub for 20 years.

Although renowned for its cuisine, The Black Bull is faithful to its roots as a traditional village pub where people can wander in with walking boots and dogs to enjoy good company as well as fine ales, wine and food. The real ale range is still being developed but local ales will feature prominently. Open for brunch 9.30am-11.30am on the !st Saturday of the month. Popular quiz night on last Thursday of the month.

      The Angler took on new owners in 2024 opening as a pub and Nepalese Restaurant. Previously a boarding school, convent and the local maternity hospital. The front of the building is accessed via steps. To the left is the bar and restaurant, to the right there is a room with a pool table and a further room. There is level access at the rear into the restaurant area. Accommodation comprises six, en-suite double-rooms.

      For more than 60 years, these premises were the Royal British Legion, having been acquired in the late 1940s from Captain Noel Newton. Newton served in the army during World War I with the rank of captain, then major – and was awarded the Military Cross. He was later a member of Rutland County Council. The premises are built onto a surviving part of The Limes – a grand house named after the tall trees in its walled garden.

      Hunters Bar at the Wisteria Hotel has a cosy and charming bar/restaurant area that dates back to the 17th Century. It was formally a hunting lodge and has a separate Snug room. Non residents are welcomed in Hunters Bar

      The hotel is in the centre of Oakham and is adjacent to the Rutland Museum which hosts the annual Rutland CAMRA Beer Festival at the end of June. Details of the Festival can be found on the branch website www.rutland.camra.org.uk

Located in Oakhams main shopping street heading towards the station, all visitors to this quirky and quite different little pub with its unique decor are assured of a warm welcome.       A new build Marston's Pizza and Grill pub situated just off the A606 Oakham bypass. It has a good reputation as a value for money pub and in addition to the normal menu freshly made pizzas are available. The Main building is Grade II Listed and was built in the 17th Century and gives the Green Dragon Pub a nice cozy feel with its low ceilings and nooks and crannies.       Former Mansfield pub close to the river, now Admiral Taverns. Refurbished two years ago and now under new management and reverted to the original name of The Millstone. Family friendly and community centred. The large garden overlooks meadows. Locally sourced food is served and breakfast served from 10.00 on Saturdays. Pizza oven and specialised Pizza nights. Furnished function room upstairs suitable for private events. One further real ale pump is planned.

      A stone built pub in a hilltop village overlooking the Welland valley and with commanding views of the Harringworth Viaduct. It is located about two miles east of Uppingham and with easy access from the A47 to the north. The building once housed the butchers and the bakery in addition to the inn. The building dates back to 1620 and still serves as the hub for local villages. Booking is advised for food. Attractive garden area. May 24 update - Draught Bass changing soon to Oakham Citra. There is also a house biitter George & Dragon Ale served.

      Attractive stone built pub recently refurbished. Historically it was the Coach House was the point half way between Spalding and Leicester. It is situated on the main road and has a newly built separate restaurant and seven accommodation rooms are available. The bar area offers a warm welcome with a roaring fire, flagstone floors and a friendly, homely atmosphere serving three real ales. A function room is available for small parties or the restaurant can be booked for up to 40. Breakfast is served from Friday to Sunday 9-11. Situated to the west of the town centre this pub is a real survivor with pub fixtures and fittings providing character of a previous era. Several different seating areas and a pool table in a separate area. Having a large wide screen television the pub can be extremely busy when rugby and football tournaments are in progress.
