Blonde Ales

Super drinkable premium golden ale. A good helping of hop Mandarina Bavaria gives tangerine and ciitrus up front, followed by a familiar golden malt base for biscuit and light caramel notes, with a dry moreish aftertaste to finish.

2. Alter Ego Brewing Co. Alfreton, Derbyshire Incognito 5.8% sponsored by Rutland Catering & Bar Supplies
A premium strength West Coast IPA hopped with the classic American 'C' hops - Chinook, Columbus and Centennial.

3. Baker’s Dozen, Ketton, Rutland Electric Landlady 5.0% sponsored by Baker’s Dozen
Flagship multi-award winning single-hopped Mosaic pale ale. This beer is bursting with tropical fruit flavour and aroma. Electric Landlady was CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain Premium Pale Ale Winner in 2023

6.New Bristol Brewery, Bristol The Joy of Sesh 4.2% sponsored by Otters Fine Foods
A relatively low abv makes this hop laden brew an easily sessionable quaffer. A 'go to' IPA with Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra hops.

7. Brewsters Brewery, Grantham, Lincolnshire Seahorse Searcher 4.8% sponsored by The Rutland Cleaning Company
A fruity red ale featuring UK Harlequin and Jester hops. The latest in the Women of Wonder series, celebrating Mary Anning - fossil hunter.

8. Bristol Beer Company, Bristol Everytime 3.8% sponsored by The Pharmacie Arms, Syston
A proper Session IPA. Straight in with Cryopop and Krush hops for that new wave tropical groove and stonefruit undertones. Adding depth the iconic Idaho 7 brings bold citrus and orange energy.

Hazy Pale Ale that springs forth with tangy lime and juicy peach jumping out from Simcoe and Citra hops.

Blond ale with huge tropical fruit aromas and peachy undertones.
Extensive use of Amarillo hops in the early stages of the brew give a wonderful orange bitterness and finish. Tastes amazing !

18. Oakham Ales, Peterborough Krush 4.4% sponsored by Aqua Park Group
Brewed with the US hop of the same name this beer exhibits big bold fruit forward flavours with stone fruits, citrus orange, tropical fruits and berries.

19. Oakham Ales, Peterborough Rutland Remembers 4.2% ‘Festival Special' sponsored by Oakham Ales
A special beer from Oakham Ales for this year’s festival and named as part of our collaboration with the local VE/VJ Day Anniversary Celebrations. A blend of six American hop varieties with big tropical fruit notes.

This super drinkable American Pale is the absolute classic hop combo – Citra and Mosaic. Smooth and easy drinking with a tropical hop flavour and lingering bitterness.

This deep golden beer from our friends at Tydd Steam is actually a mid-strength bitter offering a malty flavour with a pine/citrus finish.

A unique blonde ale made using American fruity hops which give it its unique floral flavour with a clean, biscuit finish but with a citrus twist throughout.

A banging modern best bitter, big, mellow and rounded with plenty of fruit and malt, a mouthful of biscuits and a hint of spice.

24. Bowlers, Market Deeping, Lincolnshire Hopshackle Special Best Bitter 4.3% sponsored by Jolly Jon Enterprises
A brown coloured traditional English bitter with complex malt and fruit flavours and a dry bitter finish. Only an English yeast strain and hops Brewers Gold, Fuggles and Goldings are used to maintain the integrity of this classic beer style. A good dollop of black treacle is is also added in a nod to the historical use of molasses in beers, particularly by breweries in the vicinity of sugar refining factories.

A well- balanced , dark red ale. Slight liquorish, with a powerful malty taste.

Dark Beers

27. Five Points Brewery, Hackney, East London Railway Porter 4.8% sponsored by All Saints Church, Oakham
One of their first brews and the recipe has remained essentially unchanged ever since. A classic, robust London style porter - with FIve Points own twist. Smooth and full-bodied, bursting with aromas of dark, bitter chocolate and roasted coffee. Brewed with 100% British ingredients, East Kent Goldings hops and an array of seven different malts.

Crafted by hand with Maris Otter malt. Crystal malt - caramel toffee flavours. Black malt - hints of burnt coffee. Coffee malt - hints of coffee and chocolate. Hops - Fuggles - traditional English hops added with care to enable the malts to stand out. A well-balanced take on the traditional English Porter.

The magic of mild is found in the perfect balance between hops, malt and yeast. Each ingredient brings its own characterful flavours but none are too overpowering ; everything works in harmony together. The Unbeliever series covers all things sour. This version is a throwback to the first EVER sour made by Abbeydale. Packed with succulent, juicy mango, backed up by bold and fruity Galaxy hops. Sweet, tart and tropical with a lip-smackingly refreshing finish.

3. Cidentro, Leicestershire A Winter’s Tale (SV) 8.00% Medium Dry
Made from the late-harvesting Black Dabinett using wild yeasts. A cider that is full of depth and character.

4. Trenchmore Farm, Sussex Silly Moo 5.0% Medium
An unusually civilised farmhouse cider, made with a blend of traditional cider varieties and eating fruit.

5. Oliver’s Cider, Herefordshire Traditional Dry 6.2% Dry
A fully fermented cider with spice and dry fruit, orchard flora and refreshing acidity. .

6. Tricky, Somerset Wizard 6.0% Medium
A blend of 3 classic cider apples, Dabinett, Yarlington Mill and Michelin sourced from Somerset orchards. A well balanced and full-bodied classic farmhouse cider with mid tannin and medium sweetness.

7. Cotswold Cider, Oxfordshire Yellow Hammer 6.0% Medium
A rich, fruity, medium cloudy cider with a tannic bite and endless apple pie delight.

Perries

8. Oliver’s Cider, Herefordshire Classic Perry 6.4% Medium Sweet
A pear fruitiness with pleasing sweetness and nice balancing citrus notes

9 .Dudda’s Tun, Kent Perry 5.5% Medium
A well balanced perry, with subtle honey notes and light haze. Produced from super ripe Comice pears.

10. Gwatkin Cider, Herefordshire Squeal Pig 4.5% Medium
Very pale straw in colour with sweet citrus notes in the aroma. A clean-tasting, very refreshing perry made from a blend of pears.

All ciders and perries are gluten free, suitable for vegetarians/vegans but may contain a small amount of sulphites
