A visit to CAMBRIDGE, with opportunities to follow a trail of recommended pubs on the periphery of the town and/or splash the cash in the centre OR a bit of both!

We hope to arrive in Cambridge about Noon, and will have the usual buffet/sandwich type lunch to kick off with. Then to visit pubs/shops etc. The leaving time is not yet set in stone but probably about 6pm from somewhere 'near the river'. Beware ...there will be some walking!

The trip for volunteers is FREE! You are welcome to bring family members/friends,(if we have the spare seats-first come first served) but they will need to pay a contribution of £15 per person. Most coach companies will not allow dogs unless they are assistance dogs.

To book you place please send your names , indicating if you would like to bring a guest/s and indication of a suitable pick up/drop off point. Clearly we cannot pick up from everywhere in Rutland as we would need to leave about dawn to do so! Generally we have picked up in Uppingham, Oakham, Stamford and a few centrally located villages. Once we know know where you would like to be picked up we will negotiate with the coach company to sort out the most efficient route and pick up points. Also any dietary requirements for the lunch please.
